The David and Lucile Packard Foundation is a private foundation that provides grants to not-for-profit organizations. It was created by David Packard (co-founder of HP) and his wife Lucile Salter Packard. The foundation's goals, through the use of grants, are to improve the lives of children, enable creative pursuit of science, advance reproductive health, and conserve and restore earth’s natural systems.

3ie ( International Initiative for Impact Evaluation)seeks to improve the lives of poor people in low- and middle-income countries by providing, and summarizing, evidence of what works, when, why and for how much.3ie’s work addresses the enduring questions of development. It operates a grant program, financing impact studies in low- and middle-income countries and supports quality impact evaluation through its quality assurance services.

 

UNICEF is the driving force that helps build a world where the rights of every child are realized. UNICEF upholds the Convention on the Rights of the Child. It works to assure equality for those who are discriminated against, girls and women in particular. UNICEF also works towards the realization of Millennium Development Goals and for the progress promised in the United Nations Charter. UNICEF strives for peace and security.

The Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance in Humanitarian Action (ALNAP) was established in 1997. ALNAP is a collective response by the humanitarian sector, dedicated to improving humanitarian performance through increased learning and accountability.A unique network, ALNAP incorporates many of the key humanitarian organisations and experts from across the humanitarian sector. Members are drawn from donors, NGOs, the Red Cross/Crescent, the UN, independents and academics.

Pact is a 40-year old international NGO operating in 59 countries. Pact's mission is to build empowered communities, governments and private institutions that give people an opportunity for a better life. Programs focus on governance, health, economic development and natural resource management.

International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation ( IOCE) is an international coalition that brings together regional and national evaluation associations, societies and networks. It was launched by representatives from 24 evaluation associations and networks from around the world at an Inaugural Assembly in Lima, Peru, in March 2003. The IOCE aims to legitimatize evaluation and to support evaluation societies, associations or networks so that they can better contribute to good governance and to effective decision-making and strengthen the role of civil society.

The Sri Lanka Evaluation Association (SLEvA) is a voluntary civil society organization established by an interested group of professionals to promote an evaluation culture as an integral element in the development process in Sri Lanka, to contribute to better management, good governance, transparency and accountability both in the Governmental and Non Governmental sectors.
